How hot are your sauces?

Each sauce is clearly labelled with a heat level:

  • Low Blow – Medium heat (πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯)

  • Second Degree – Hot (πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯)

  • No Contact – Very hot (πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯)

Heat levels are subjective, but No Contact is extremely hot and should be used sparingly.


Will the heat ruin the flavour?

No. All Spite Kitchenβ„’ sauces are flavour-first. Heat builds naturally and is balanced with real ingredients β€” not extracts.


Are your sauces suitable for vegans?

  • Low Blow contains honey and is not vegan

  • Second Degree and No Contact are vegan friendly

Always check the ingredient list on the product page or label.


Are there any allergens?

We do not add any of the 14 major allergens.

Low Blow contains honey (not an allergen, but not suitable for vegans).

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order allows you to reserve your sauce before it’s bottled and dispatched.

When will my order be dispatched?

  • Pre-order dispatch dates are listed on each product

  • Once in stock, orders are usually dispatched within 2–4 working days

You’ll receive a confirmation email when your order ships.


Can I cancel a pre-order?

We currently ship within the United Kingdom only.

Due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of opened or used food products.

This does not affect your statutory rights.


What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • A clear photo of the issue

We’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

How should I store the sauces?

  • Store unopened bottles in a cool, dry place

  • Refrigerate after opening

  • Shake well before use


How long do the sauces last?

Each bottle is marked with a Best Before date.

When stored correctly:

  • Unopened: shelf-stable

  • Opened: best used within 8–12 weeks
